As true Brits, we're great believers in the power of a cup of tea! We're well known as a nation to turn to popping the kettle on, whether it's in a time of comfort, needing help solving a problem, catching up with friends or family, so it's no suprise that we're a little bit in love with this pretty antique gold teapot charm!
The charm is made of 9ct gold, tested as it's unhallmarked, and it has wonderful details throughout. The charm does have what looks to be a maker's mark on the bottom but it's hard to make out clearly due to wear.
The charm is detailed throughout and is hollow in the middle.
Without hallmarks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely from circa 1900.
The charm measures approx 8mm tall by approx 16.5mm handle to spout (not including the jump ring) by approx 6mm deep and weighs approx 0.7g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good antique condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
