How sweet is this vintage 1920s silver good luck token pendant/charm? We wish we knew who it was first gifted to, perhaps it was for a special trip or new job.
The token has lovelty enamel detailing to the front depicting a bunch of flowers, we think likely daisies, and blue lettering that reads 'Good luck'.
The token is made of sterling silver and has British hallmarks to the back for the maker 'MSM LD', the lion passant for sterling silver, the Birmingham assay office mark and the date letter 'B' for 1926. There is also a registered design number.
The token measures approx 22mm in diameter (approx 24.7mm tall including the jump ring) and weighs approx 4g in total.
Condition - The pendant is in good, wearable vintage condition for a piece that's nearly 100 years old but it does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear and tarnishing to the silver, and also wear to the enamel too. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
