This vintage 1950s gold telephone box/phone booth charm may be tiny, but it is so sweetly detailed! The little door even opens to reveal the inside of the booth too that has a pop of red enamel.
The charm has wonderful detailing throughout and is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks on the bottom for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'C' for 1958. There is also a maker's mark but this is now quite hard to make out as it is quite worn.
The charm measures approx 15.8mm in tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 7.3mm wide by approx 6.3mm deep and weighs approx 2.6g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. There is some red enamel inside but some of this has worn away. The door hinge works well but it is quite loose when closed and so can open on its own when worn and the door is a little off centre. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
