We don't Adam and Eve it! This vintage gold apple charm looks so luscious from the outisde, and it has a hidden suprise inside too! The apple is hinged and opens in half to reveal a tiny gold and enamel Adam and Eve holding hands inside. Adam and Eve are even hinged so they can move from one side of the apple to the other so you can see them from both sides!
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks for 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'N' for 1962. The charm has beautiful detailing throughout too including a little stalk and leaf which has some green enamel and Adam and Eve even have their own enamel detailing too.
The charm has a lovely weight to it of approx 4g and measures approx 15.4mm tall (not including the jump ring) by 12.5mm wide by 14.8mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the gold throughout and the enamel has worn away in places, particularly to the leaf on the outside. The hinge still works well and the charm closes with a light click. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
