Said to be a symbol of good luck, wisdom and protection, this vintage, 1970s gold elephant charm would make a lovely wearable talisman. The elephant has beautiful detailing to both sides too so you can clearly make out his ears, tusks and eyes.

The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks on one side for the maker 'WHC', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'X' for 1972.

The charm measures approx 14.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 19.3mm trunk to tail by approx 4.5mm deep and weighs approx 1.15g in total.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with light signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the gold. There are three small holes to one side which are air holes from when the charm was made. The charm is hollow in the middle and detailed to both sides with a seam line running down the top and bottom. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
