How incredible is this vintage 9ct gold opening haunted house charm!? Not only is it wonderfully detailed to the outisde, the roof is also hinged at one end and opens to reveal a swinging 9ct gold ghost hiding inside!
The charm is made of 9ct gold, the inside of the roof half of the charm has a very faint British 9ct gold hallmark which is now quite worn. The bottom half of the house has a light '9K' mark to the inside too.
The charm weighs approx 6.5g and it measures approx 19.7mm tall by approx 15.4mm wide by approx 16.8mm deep (not including the jump ring).
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear including some surface wear and tarnishing to the gold. The loop that connects the ghost to the inside of the charm looks to be made of base metal and there are signs of it being glued in place. There is movement in the loop and how it is connected to the charm. Care needs to be taken not to move this too much. The hinge mechanism still works well and the charm clicks closed. When closing the charm you just need to make sure the ghost is fully inside the house first. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
