How fun is this vintage clown head pendant!? When the drop at the bottom is pulled downwards, the clown's blue faux gem set eyes roll and its tongue, complete with red enamel, sticks out!
The pendant is wonderfully detailed throughout and is a great large size. It's been made out of base metal and looks to have some sort of gold coloured gilding or plating originally to give it the look of solid gold. This has now completely worn away in a lot of places.
The pendant measures approx 39.8mm tall (not including the jump ring or bolt ring clasp) by approx 19.4mm wide by approx 19.4mm deep and weighs approx 11.3g.
Condition - The pendant is in well loved vintage condition with surface wear throughout. As mentioned above, the pendant looks to have had a gold coloured gilding or plating originally but this has completely worn away in a lot of places with the base metal showing through. The enamel is worn and shows signs of age too. The jump ring at the top is actually a bolt ring clasp so it can be clipped on to a chain. Please see photos.
